    Hard Summer 2009

    So I am very excited to be going to Hard Summer 2009. You can see the complete list of artists in the picture, but here is who I am looking forward to most:

    • Chromeo
    • Crookers,
    • A-Trak
    • Skeet Skeet (apparently Jason knows him from school. He recently dropped out of college to persue his music career; happy to see he made it to the big leagues)
    • Crystal Castles

      wuuuttttt what about underworld man?! their music was in trainspotting!

      i am not very familiar with underworld's music. apparently they are quite godlike in the electronica scene. i have a few of their albums, but none of the songs awestruck me. to compare: Paul van dyke is supposedly one of the “best” live electronic performances, but I was not too impressed with his set at ETD pop. i did not see him at EDC however. didn't hear much about him.

      my personal fav live at the moment is sander van doorn. that guy knows how to rock a show and crowd. crystal method are among the top live performances also.

      now that you've posted this, i have been listening to two of underworld's albums for the last few days. few songs i recognize now. they're good, just not as good as some of my other favorites. =]
