Busy P does Busy Pictionary

For those that don’t already know who Pedro Winter is; he is known as Busy P, electrohouse DJ, producer, manager and Ed Banger Records owner. He is currently well known for the management of the French-Juggernaut, super-duo Justice, but also manages artists Cassius, SebastiAn, Uffie, DJ Mehdi, Mr Oizo, and Breakbot to just name a few. He is best known for managing the heavy-weight, super-producer, French-master-wizard DJ duo Daft Punk from 1996 to 2008.

As some of you may already know, I will be attending HARD Summer Music Festival 2011 at L.A. Historic State Park this August. Busy P will playing under the moniker Busy Pictionary – to which I am very excited about.

“We’re calling it the Busy Pictionary show and this is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time,” Busy P said of the planned sets. “I will bring So-Me on stage with me and we will plug in his computer while I’m DJing so he can react live to the music I play and what the crowd do. He’ll be drawing, photographing and doing some more stuff that I can’t tell you about now and translating that feeling and the energy onto the screen.”

As excited I am to see his set, I am equally excited to see what So-Me has in store for us — I’m not even sure So-Me knows what he will draw, which is even more tantalizing and a bit titillating, I must say.

I guess this is the space where I will ‘put-out’ and give you something to jam to while you contemplate Busy P and all that surrounds the electronic-music-guru and king of French electronic music networking. This past weekend I went to see the film Hanna (Joe Wright 2011). It was a fantastic movie filled with great camera effects and amazing cinematography. The story was well written, and the acting was spot on. My favorite part was the soundtrack and sound design of the film. Hanna was scored by The Chemical Brothers, the veteran producer and DJ pair from Manchester, England, and the soundtrack absolutely blew me away. I cannot stop listening to it and wanted to share my favorite track from the film, called The Devil is in the Beats:
