Pidgin 2.6.6 AIM Error

Well, here I am on my newly installed Windows 7 machine (which I am rather liking a whole lot — btw), and I stumble upon an error that doesn’t let me connect to AIM on the popular, open source, multi-chat cilent: Pidgin 2.6.6

The error was:
