Can’t Sleep

I had a very productive day today, although I didn’t go to the gym. I started the day by researching routers, the one I have is so shitty and cheap. Looked into this new technology called “Gamer Lounge”. It is supposed to prioritize gaming packets of data over p2p and http traffic. This would be ideal for me, since my parents are now streaming videos and music more than ever. 

Later on, I got out my old computer (I call him College 1) that hadn’t been working for the longest time; spent many hours tinkering with it because it was not putting out any video. I think the video card is crapping out on me; could also be the motherboard or small parts on the motherboard. Anyways, I figured out the video card needed to be plugged in exactly right and the connection from the cord to the video card is very touchy. I think I disassembled the whole damn computer 3 times, triple checking connections. So now everything works! 

There were breaks in between all this computer doctoring in which I barbequed up some chicken thighs/breasts and tri tip steak I had marrinated the night before. Also threw some bell peppers on the grill. It turned out great! Dad made rice to compliment the meal. I think the dry rub is getting closer to a real tasty treat. The chicken was a little too salty, the tri tip…almost perfect. Very tender. 

Later on I played some CS1.6 and TF2. PWNT teH FacES and made people rage quit. 

So, I later on went back to my newly stitched up computer, and now the TWO cd-rom drives I have in there aren’t functioning properly! So I fumbled with the damn things for another extended amount of time to no avail. I took a shit a while later, frustrated and confused, when all of a sudden a brilliant idea came to my head! I should use an external cd-rom because I’d forgotten my Dad has one. So I snatched it and, while I was writing this, was installing Mac OSx86 on my PC. So here I am, happily watching the welcome video for Mac OSX Leopard, w00t!

I am off to find a USB keyboard! Late!
